Turned out the motor is kaput & I need a new unit. I did appreciate the technician showing up ($98) as I had two other companies neither show up nor call after scheduling appointments. However I thought $800+ (with $500+ installation if I furnished my own unit) was a little excessive.

Issue was motor reset. Nicholas fixed the problem quickly and told me to get a serge protector to keep warrantee in effect. He was very professional and diagnosed the problem quickly

Customer service concerns are taken seriously. Technician came back for a second look and got the problem resolved. Door is gliding smoothly again so we're not having the mid-closure reversal anymore and certainly doesn't require an expensive replacement, not right now. Thank you Precision.

As the owner of the property, I am not happy that the tech shared an “opinion” with my tenant. He claimed the door may have not even have come down on the car and the top buckle may have just given way. I expect a tech to come out, provide a service and communicate w me only, the owner of the property. Secondly, I was expecting s secondary service, maintenance on the chains and the bill to separated. I was expecting a call for payment when I could hv confirmed that part of the job done. That would have given the tech another opportunity to perform the maintenance. Please share with all techs and consider calling for payment again so the payee can be informed. Would be better to get questions answered before the tech left the site.
